Q1: I do understand that Labs-of-Time® is the heart of your business concept. Please explane one more time what Labs-of-time® is doing and what you mean with a 'virtual front-office'?
A1: Labs-of-Time® is a complete set of webapplications die de zakelijke communicatie tussen laboratoria en hun klanten faciliteert, in het bijzonder in de bestelfase en in het rapportagetraject. Dit gebeurt door deze pre- en postanalytische processen zo nauw te verweven met de analysefase zelf dat de communicatie in hoge mate geautomatiseerd verloopt en niettemin een zeer persoonlijke, klantspecifieke dimensie krijgt. Ónder 'front-office' verstaan we de voor de klant zichtbare kant van het laboratorium: de medewerkers die opdrachtgevers te woord staan, hun orders opnemen, instaan voor de (tussentijdse) rapportage e.d. Aangezien Labs-of-Time® veel van deze 'balietaken' voor zijn rekening neemt, kan men dus spreken van een 'virtual front-office'.

Q2: We have not linked yet all our laboratory instruments to the LIMS. Does LabWing offer solutions for such connections?
A2: Yes indeed, with our productline LabCarrier® we offer a universal interface workstation for almost any type of lab instrument.We offer applications for Atomic Absorption, Coulometry, Spectroscopy, MassSpectrometry, Pathology etc. with a fabulous functionality.
Q3: Our lab-automation looks like a mess from time to time. Do you see any chance for a rigorous clean-up and to help us with that?
A3: We will be pleased to assist you in that. With our longlasting experience and broad expertise in lab management and information and communication technology we understand the full laboratory processes and logistics. Be assured that we are an excellent partner in bringing adequate solutions for your laboratory in any respect.
Q4: My laboratory has an internetsite, however ordering laboratory tests via the electronic way is not possible yet. Can LabWing fix this for me.
A4: We have developed a dedicated e-commerce applications-suite for any type of laboratory, that can be tailored to your specific requirements. If you prefer a demonstration or would like to discuss this in a personal meeting, please contact us at +31 76 564 50 70.
Q5: You from LabWing talk about the 'matching' of labtesting offer and demand. Does this mean that my laboratory clients will turn to your system and that i will be faced with a decrease in turnover?
A5: Not at all, our LabRadar system offers to the potential labclients facilities for comparing prices of participating laboratories and to conclude upon price and quality rate of such lab testing offers.
Q6. I like the ideas and initiatives, but how do you make your money?
A6. In several ways. We generate earnings from the sale of software licences. And we have the consultancy business. And we sell advertisements at our www.lablines.com. Last but not least, we expect to generate a substantial income out of our activities as ASP (application service provider) on the web via www.labwing.com; our fees are generated by membership fees and by the number of transmitted results.
Q7: What does it mean, this "a Kiebitz & Vanello company" in your company communication?
A7: It is the holding company. On the other hand, it is just a little joke as well ! Kiebitz, Vanello and LabWing (with a "p") are the respective translations into German, Italian and English for the Dutch bird 'kievit'.
