Breda, October 16th, 2003 - LabWing recently
completed the development of the first version of Chrom-LabCarrier® for
ChromCard™. Now, LabCarrier®, the new type of expert interface that
processes raw data, disposes of a new module for processing Chromatography data
from the program ChromCard™.
The development has been focused on the WingConverter® only version which
imports the digital ChromCard™ measuring results from text files, and
converts the found values by means of formulas. In a next phase, WingConverter®,
using a Digital-Analogue converter, converts these digital data to an analogue
signal that is able to manage instruments. This functionality is especially
helpful in process monitoring. The most recently measured value is automatically
shown, e.g. by means of a dial plate. Thus, the user has easy and direct access
to the measuring results.
Moreover, all events (date and time) are logged and used to build a complete
history of events. Requesting the details of a certain event will always be
possible.
By order of Interscience B.V., this first version of the WingConverter®
module of Chrom-LabCarrier® for ChromCard™ has recently been implemented
at the Waterlaboratorium Noord in Glimmen.
