Kitarakyu shu city, Fokuoka prefecture, June 20th 2007 -- LabWing exihibits at the Japan Society for Environmental Chemistry.-
Last June, LabWing had the opportunity to present LabCarrier for the first time in Japan.
This expert software for processing large batches of raw spectrometric data was warmly welcomed by a group of distinguished scientists and professionals specializing in PCB-testing.
LabWing’s CEO, Mr. Luc Scholtis, accompanied by his senior system developer Ms. Dr. Masayo Haneda,
had been invited to Kitarakyu shu city on the island of Kyushu to demonstrate the software in the margins of a symposium of the Japan Society for Environmental Chemistry.
The Japanese audience expressed a keen interest in the features of LabCarrier, particularly in the adequate and highly accurate way in which LabCarrier processes PCB and Dioxines analyses.
LabWing’s mission on this three-day trip was threefold – to create an interest in its software solutions among analysis professionals;
to get in touch with suppliers of data acquisition packages; and to explore the possibilities of a business partnership with a Japanese agent for a possible future commercial roll-out of the product in Japan.
Thanks to Masayo Haneda, LabWing was able to demonstrate LabCarrier in the Japanese language.
In the booth, kindly offered by IDEA, Labwing handed out both English and Japanese versions of the latest documentation materials.
Later this year we expect to provide more news on the swift developments that are taking shape…

LabWing on steam in Japan…
