LabCarrier® version 1.17 ready for roll-out

Breda (NL), 15 October 2007 – LabCarrier®, expert software for processing large batches of raw spectrometric data, will shortly be available in its latest version: LabCarrier 1.17. Main new features concern the integration of newly developed and advanced QC application (LabChecks®) and a smart module for filtring out calibration problems. LabCarrier 1.17 is now also capable of processing Time of Flight data. The new version operates under Windows XP, but is already forward compatible with Vista. .

Why LabChecks?
QC samples allow the technician to evaluate the quality of the produced test results (If the QC results are within acceptable limits, results can be authorized and reported. Otherwise corrective action is required). A new export function ensures that QC results can be calculated before the analysis results of production samples are accepted. The new QC application generates graphs and statistics that prompt the operator whether or not he should take measures according to the applicable standards (p.e. the Shewhart or Westgard Rules).
