Drs Hans van Riemsdijk (marketing & communications)

Hans (26-4-1961) obtains his MA degree in Romance literature in Groningen (NL) and moves to Brussels to put his communicative assets into practice - fluent in five languages, eloquent writing style, engaging social skills. He is first hired as a junior press attaché at United Nations office at EU headquarters and then switches to the EC directorate of Public Affairs.

Keen on exploring the private sector, he leaves the institutional world and gets to work as head of the Dutch department for a Brussels based translation agency. In 1989 he decides to start as a free agent, working for ad agencies and publishing firms, both as writer and as communication consultant. Later on, Hans is hired directly by prestigious brands and organizations (including IKEA, Unilever, Sabena, Interbrew and the United Nations).

An experience of over fifteen years with large communications projects and marketing campaigns made him a sharp marketeer, able to translate complex matters in convincingly clear and short messages, in particular with respect to web-editing and e-commerce.

After hours Hans spends his spare time with his lovely wife and three children, and is furthermore dedicated to all aspects of the art of living (preferably in Italy).
