Luc (18-11-1956) studies law and business administration at the universities of Breukelen (Nijenrode), Utrecht and Delft. Even before graduating, he starts his own business consultancy activity. Shortly after having obtained his MBA (1983) he participates in the founders team of consultancy firm Ace co-ordinating various remodelling projects for Shell Nederland Chemie, Philips, Aalberts Industries, TU Delft and Grontmij.

Luc gets involved in the laboratory world when he is asked to draft an ambitious business plan for the young analytical organization BCO (1985). The plan envisages an increase in BCO's market share in the field of environmental and pharmaceutical lab testing. Soon this non-profit organization is remodelled to become a commercial enterprise. Luc is asked to join the management team and agrees to participate in the company's capital. By 1989, he leaves his flourishing consultancy firm and is appointed Managing Director of BCO Centre for Research, that will soon become one of the largest privately owned contract laboratories in the Netherlands.

After the merger of BCO centre for Research and Pro Analyse in 1998 (the new entity then operating under the new name of Analytico), Luc stays in charge and guides the process of the integration of the labs of the various affiliates involved in the merger. Having completed this task successfully, he experiences the need for a new challenge. Meanwhile, as a result of his keen interest in innovations in laboratory processes (particularly with regard to ICT, regulations, and quality assurance) he has been appointed member of the board of various professional associations in the Dutch and international laboratory branche. His experiences in this context, amongst several other considerations, inspire him to start a company resolutely dedicated to develop innovative software and service solutions to the benefit of the analytical sector -- LabWing is born.

Luc's strenghts are his pro-active thinking and acting, and his keen sense of relation-marketing.

Luc loves English and Italian car design, technical gadgets, fine cigars and having a good time having dinner with creative and inspiring friends. Recently he took up painting and appears to be quite good at it, too!
