Masayo Haneda

Dr. Masayo Haneda (software development)

Masayo (21 Jan 1978) got her Masters degree in Computer Science in Nara (Japan) in 2002 and was very keen on continuing her studies by means of a PhD program in the USA. Things turned out differently though: she obtained her PhD in Informatics – specializing in profiled based methodologies for identification of optimal compiler settings – at Leiden University.

Doctor Masayo’s tasks with LabWing will initially concern the optimization and speeding-up of data handling in LabCarrier. She will also play a leading role in the development of quality control features in our other applications.

Masayo Haneda

In her spare time Masayo likes to wine and dine with university friends. She is also very keen on playing music — she studied piano in her home country and is now teaching herself to play the mandolin. Cooking is one of her favorite pass-times as well, although she had to phone her mum when her friends first asked her to prepare sushi! By now, she has become an expert in this branch of gastronomy. Which obviously is good for us!
