LabWing’s main objective is to facilitate day-to-day laboratory business with innovative,
mainly web-based software solutions designed and developed through extensive hands-on experience
in the lab environment. One of our core priorities is to streamline and harmonize data flows
into one efficient and transparent model, enabling laboratories to deliver top-quality test results
quickly, accurately and cost-effectively.
Because of the fast growth of LabWing and the increasing communication needs, both internal and for our clients, we are looking to expand our in-house design studio. We currently have an opening for a:
Web Designer
Innovative laboratory software & databases
Analytical knowledge, creativity and a good sense of humour are a must
Your job involves:
- Designing new websites for our clients.
- Designing and developing various digital and print media for LabWing.
- Supporting creative and conceptual work for marketing instruments for customers.
- Contributing to intuitive and user-friendly GUI designs for our web and software applications.
- Managing the graphical content of existing websites.
We are looking for:
- An intelligent, creative, optimistic and driven designer who will be responsible primarily
for designing websites and web-based applications.
- Someone who can also support the design team in creating marketing materials
(brochures, ads, trade-show materials) for LabWing and our clients.
- A relevant bachelor degree, preferably in multimedia design.
- Knowledge and experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS and Flash.
- Good practical skills with Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and/or InDesign.
- Knowledge of ASP.NET and MS SQL is a plus.
- Work experience in a similar role, preferably as web designer or graphic designer.
- Affinity with B2B communication and especially the laboratory sector.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and strong language sensitivity in design work.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; French and German are a plus.
