Logistics

Laboratory logistics ensures the operation of processes aimed at managing materials and samples within the laboratory. Logistics refers to receiving, labeling, storing and distributing samples and materials used for analysis. The integrity of samples and materials is crucial and requires reliable identification throughout the process. The logistics aspect of a laboratory includes planning and coordinating analyses, taking into account the availability of resources, personnel and time.

Labs-of-Time® ensures the smooth operation of laboratory logistics through several functions, with the right resources available for analysis at the right time.

For this purpose, we have the following functions available, among others:

Sample

Identifies the individual samples and associated orders that make up the order. Typically, these items correspond to the number of analytical samples to be processed.

Labels

After completing the online order form and preparing the samples according to standard instructions, the client activates the function that produces unique barcode labels for each sample (and project). These labels are attached to each individual sample or to the transport box.

Transport

This function oversees the scheduling of the transport of the labeled samples and their arrival time at the lab. The client receives feedback once their samples have arrived.
