Approach

Together with Multifinance, LabWing carries out the implementation of LabCost®, based on a predefined action plan. The implementation requires eight consulting days within a period of approximately 2 months and consists of a start up phase, an operational phase and a maintenance phase.

Start up phase
Phase 1 aims at two main topics:
The development of a tailor- made cost accounting model, in which the choice between various cost drivers is most important. The determination of the methods to extract the basic data from present systems.

Operational phase
During the operational phase, the users will be trained in working with LabCost®. They will also focus on the flexible report possibilities by means of simple turn tables. In consultation with the people directly working with LabCost®, a scenario will be made for the periodic updating of the model.

Maintenance phase
The maintenance phase consists of support after LabCost® has been delivered. After-care is important when LabCost® is put in practice and the user has had some experience with LabCost®.

Implementation
LabWing ensures the selling, implementation and support of LabCost® in the laboratory branch while Jaco Spa is the expert in the field of cost-accounting. Jaco Spa is the founder of Multifinance, a cost-accounting company that focuses on the implementation of financial software and on support in cost accounting. As a partner of LabWing, Multifinance deals with every possible cost-accounting issue that is relevant to LabWing clients.
